John S.
Senior Advisor
John brings over four decades of specialized experience in remote sensing, image processing, geomatics, and GEOINT for the Defense and Intelligence Communities. His technical expertise covers the entire geospatial systems development life cycle, including concept development, research, requirements, design, development, implementation, and operations. This skill set has supported the entire intelligence value chain, including Tasking, Collections, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) for numerous federal agencies.
John has provided technical leadership to over 100 geospatial engineering and development professionals and led multimillion-dollar geospatial research projects for a wide range of companies, from startups to major corporations. Key areas of his technical focus include geodata, geoprocessing, accuracy assessment, and 3D GEOINT.
John has been a proud member of GCS Geospatial since its inception. Currently, he serves as a Senior Advisor, helping develop and execute technical and business strategies and overseeing corporate and team development.
John holds a BS from the University of Massachusetts and an MS from the University of New Hampshire.
